# Flash MX's text is too small to read on my laptop

The text in the program is too small for me too read. For example, in the properties window where you can enter the x and y coordinates, I cant read these numbers. They are too small and pixelatted. Is there a preference where I can change the text size of these things? Thanks

You should try lowering your screen resolution in the configuration settings of your Comp.
I guess you could also try buying a bigger screen, or better yet; glasses…

what screen resolution are you at: 2680 x 1862??

its my laptop. I have a 15 1/2 inch screen. The resolution is 1920 X 1260. I even lowered it to 1200 by 800 and its still crappy text. anyways let me know what you think
