# Flash open browser

i want to open browser by flash. i’ve read the tutorial ([**[COLOR=#800080]kirupa.com - Opening a New Browser Window (Pop-Up Window)[/COLOR]**](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/newwindow.htm)), but i was not succes.  
i dont have online internet connection. in the tutorial, it needs to be connect online. what should i put in the action, so i can work offline?  
in the url i should put should  
[FONT=Courier New][COLOR=#0000ff]javascript:Launch (‘[http://www.kirupa.com/kirupa.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/kirupa.htm)’)[/COLOR][/FONT]  
i tried put like the tutorial said, i just change the [http://www.kirupa.com/kirupa.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/kirupa.htm) into my blabla.html. it doesnt work…  
help…

Just use getURL(“[http://www.yoursite.com](http://www.yoursite.com)”, “\_blank”);

The \_blank window attribute opens a new window.

thank for the answer.  
i want to use java script like in the tutorial. to control the browser attributes.  
but if i use [http://www.mysite](http://www.mysite), my browser wants internet connection. so, i can not check it while im working offline.

aniway, your name looks like an indonesian name. r u from indonesia? im indonesian girl.
