Hey people

Im making a site for a friend, and in big self confidence, i told him “of course i can make the same menu they got on deviantart”

The problem is now, ive got no idea how to program Ajax or Javascript. And i simply refuse to build the whole site in flash, mainly because of the cms-system. So i was wondering, if i could build just the menu in flash. I just seem to remember some issues with Firefox, div layer index’s, and flash.

The deviantart menu: [http://deviantart.com](http://deviantart.com)
And the design: [http://voursez.net/jakoblorentsen/design\_04.jpg](http://voursez.net/jakoblorentsen/design_04.jpg)

Any help in making the choice between Javascript and Flash would be appreciated.
