# Flash playback is considerably slower in IE. Why?

I have a flash animation that is set to 30fps and it plays fine when I play it in flashplayer, but when I play the html version in the browser it slows down to a choppy performance. Does that have something to do with the browser or is it a problem in the flashfile itself that could be cousing this? Is there any way to fix this?
