# Flash Player 8 - not very widespread

I have a feeling that a large portion of the internet population cannot see Flash 8 files properly. My Threadless submission ([Link](http://www.threadless.com/submission/74714/Fear_No_One)) was voted out of the running because people complained about it either not showing or only showing one portion of the file. Is the solution to export as Flash 7 or 6, etc… and to just ditch the new effects in Flash 8?
