# Flash player updates

Hey all,

I’ve had to download the newest flash update recently (as we’ve all had to do), but for some reason the update won’t take effect.

More specifically, the update isn’t taking effect in Firefox or Opera. I haven’t experienced an issue with IE, or needed to update the flash player when implementing swf’s into my most current web projects when viewing them with IE.

_even stranger_, flash is working just fine for one of my websites when viewing it in Firefox/Opera/Chrome/IE…

[http://www.fspdance.com/temp.html](http://www.fspdance.com/temp.html) (Chrome won’t read the header which is an swf. or even give a prompt telling the user to update their flash player, but somehow _does_ hold a space for the height of the banner)

Why is this? I appreciate any help I can get.
