Hi there, If anyone can explain the most basic way for AS3 to communicate w/ coldfusion, that would be most helpful. Here is my code (which doesn’t work) to give you an idea - I just need a start, then I can go from there. var loader:URLLoader = new URLLoader(); loader.dataFormat=URLLoaderDataFormat.VARIABLES; loader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, loading); loader.load(new URLRequest(“[http://127.0.0.1:8501/newprism/alpha/greg/work\_in\_progress/spinWheel/flashtest.cfm](http://127.0.0.1:8501/newprism/alpha/greg/work_in_progress/spinWheel/flashtest.cfm)”)); function loading(event:Event):void { fname.text=loader.data.fname; } Here is the .cfm: \ \ \ \ \Untitled Document\ \ \ \ fname=#user# \ \ \ \ Anyone?
