# Flash saving with transparet background

hi there  
im a beginner to flash 5 and im trying to save flash movies in dreamwever 4.The problem is the background is there ive been told change the alpha of the background…i bet it sounds stupid to all of you any help would be helpfull???

You can’t change the background alpha, but you can export as transparent.

The only thing with this is that it only work in IE, every other browser shows a white background.

Good to know Rev. I didn’t know that, I thought it worked on both the Mac and Windows versions.
