Howdy,

I made a site using flash and placed it in an html page. It works perfectly fine in Firefox. However, Internet Explorer totally messes everything up! Here are the problems:

1. It **blocks my flash content**. It says that it has ActiveX controls which might be harmful. I just have some benign actionscript for transition effects. How can I allow IE to show my site without having the user to click on “Allow Content”?

2. The gradient background on my flash is supposed to fit in with the gradient background of my page. In firefox it does this smoothly; in IE, it’s horrible. There is **no smooth transition** in the gradient background. How can I fix this?

Many thanks,

- Nick
