# Flash Snow 3.0 Pausing

I am trying to figure out how to pause or stop the snow in Kirupa’s [Snow 3.0](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/snow2.htm) tutorial.

There is already a thread with the same question answered for the Snow 2.0 tutorial, but I can’t seem to get that to work properly. How can I achieve this on Snow 3.0?
