Wasn’t sure if I should post this here or under Web Development (Server Side) since my question could pertain to communication via server and web browser.

I was wondering if a simple video control bar created for a Flash movie would work for numerous videos from a list like on a Web page instead of one particular video. In other words, would a video control bar be able to control multiple videos if a user requested or picked a different video to watch.

I would like to set up an environment that contains multiple Flash movies. Sort of like Google Video, but to a lesser degree, probably 15+ videos every two weeks will be cycled through on a website. I would like to have a list of movies available on one page and when the user selects a specific movie than a window could pop up.

Or maybe this could be contained in a Flash module like Macromedia Breeze presentations. If a user wants to view a different movie than they could choose another from the list while the window stays open. For instance, would it be safe to say that when a user requests a movie (out of numerous videos) a string is sent to Flash which holds the Flash video player asking it to load a new video.
