Hy,

I’m currently struggling to build a sort of Flash Video Gallery
And what do I mean by that? Let me explain to the best of my abilities:
I want PHP to build a xml database containing the various video clips plus title info and some screen shot. (That is no problem and I can manage)
Then, I need a Flash file that sorts the screen shot thumbs and the titles into a menu. (That’s a bit hard, but I might just manage - I’ve done that before on my personal site)
What I don’t know how to do is this: After clicking an Item (clip) from the Movie Menu, I want my swf file to open the video in some self-built player which has buttons to control the clip - like the essential play, stop, volume.
This Is what I have no experience in doing and if someone could please help me, i’d be very glad.

It would be a great help if someone has a simple base-file that he could send me.

Thanks In Advance
Yours, Marc
