# \[Flash8\]Help on proximity with lines

**The setup**  
I’ve been reading and viewing tutes on proximity but I can’t find exactly what i am looking for so i am going to try and post here. Basically I have about 50 boxes on the stage. They basically look like a barcode serial on the stage. They are named bar1 all the way to bar50. When you rollover one it scales up. It also scales out slightly in the x direction as well. on click it scales out to just about fill the stage and shwos a photo.

**the issue:**

I am trying to make it to where all bars stay away from each other at the equal amount of spacing that they started with (about 5-10pixels). So when I rollover bar1 it gets bigger and bar2-bar50 move to the right to allow space for bar1. When i click on bar one and it opens even wider then all bars get pushed as well. I plan to implement easing for this as I get it working. Any help on getting this working would be great. thanks in advance!
