i know there is a way to make a mask that shows what is underneath an object. does anybody know how? say i have a circle for the flashlight, a large rectangle for the darkness, and some dude standing behind the rectangle. i need the flashlight to show what’s underneath the rectangle. how would i do that? and say i wanted the hole to stay there. how would i do that? also, this has to have fuzzy edges. i can not do this by having a rectangle with a hole in it following the mouse, there will be multiple flashlights. btw, i’m not actually making something with flashlights, but it’s the same concept as what i am making and i think this will be easier to understand 🙂
