# Flashservices/gateway

I am trying to get coldfusion and flash to talk with each other and all the tutorials and information I have found on the web has made it clear to me that when I type  
[**http://localhost:8500/flashservices/gateway**](http://localhost:8500/flashservices/gateway)  
in my browser, I should get a blank page. If I do not, the flash and coldfusion will not be able to talk with eachother. I have as yet not been able to get this to work no matter what I have tried.

Has anyone else ran into this problem or know of how to accomplish this?
