# FLV Files - Muting their sound

I have a project that has embedded FLV files of various lengths. I need to mute these embedded flv files and add new audio tracks. Is this possible to do without re-outputting the FLV files? Can I use actionscript to mute the FLV files?

Thanks for any help…
