# FLVPLayback Relative Path

Hi all,

I have just been employing the new FLVPlayback component in Flash 8 for a CD-ROM presentation. An issue I have run into however, is when I specify the path to the external FLV’s, I am required to give an absolute path in the component inspector.

I was wondering whether I can use a relative path. ie. **/assets/introduction.flv** (relative to the Flash Projector file), instead of the required absolute path of\*\* C:/Documents and Settings/Roy Muir/Desktop/FH/assets/introduction.flv.

So, can I make the FLVPlayback component load my FLV’s via a relative path?
