# FLVPlaybackCaptioning trouble

I’m using the FLVPlaybackCaptioning component in CS3 and I’m having some difficulty stopping the captions from displaying automatically. I’ve applied a skin to the FLVPlayback component that has the Captions button but when the showCaptions is set to false no captions display and the button to display them is un-clickable.

When showCaptions is set to true I can turn the captions off however as the button works fine?

Has anyone else come across this?
