Hello everyone.
I have a little foreign character issue while loading an external xml file that contains characters like accents: é,ó…and so on.
I embeded the font (with all latin characters) in the dynamic text field that the xml is loaded.
Everything works fine but when I have a foreign character like the ones mentioned above, it ignores that character.
i.e:
when the xml has the word: terapéutico
my dynamic text field displays: terapico
tracing the variable that contains the text, the output window displays: terapico:

I tried rendering the text field as html and it didn’t work either.
Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance to the flash community. :hr:
