# Fomatting elements of a Text Area

Hi,  
I’ve dragged a Text Area from within UI Components onto the stage, but so far even when going into the properties i have not been able to find a way in which to alter the Text Area BG Colour or the font of the text.

Has anybody used this method before, and if so have you found a way in which to alter these properties?

Please help!
