# Football Game : Need Help

I dont know if i am being too :nose: or selfish but im not asking a lot. I just need the guidance of some of the expert game programmers here. I know most of the stuff that uguys have taught other people in your various threads likebasic character movement, tile based or art-based. RPG or Fighting, Platformer or FPS.etc.

I would like to start afresh and i wanna create a FIFA type game. I DO NOT NEED YOU TO SUBMIT THE FULL CODE AND OTHER NEWBS to COPY IT. I just require the following:

1. Can someone teach me how the ball in play can be passed to another player wherever he might be or to whichever player i want.

(like suppose the player has AI and can randomly move anywhere he likes( sorry im not so good at AI, i need help on that but first i wanna create the ball passing technique.))

1. I know the basic control movements. I wanna learn how if suppose i pass the ball to a player how i can control that particular player.( must i create code for all the 11 players?).

3)Anyone has the link to some good background sprites and where is the actionscript dictionary?

I hope anyone can help me here. This is only if you are free i am not demanding anything or trying to sound rude, this is my first time on creating such an elaborate game. Later i wanna add didffrent teams( i know how to do the rest. THe main gameplay worries me a lot. i can put diffrent teams and diffrent players, substituiton etc. Then there is also the sound and the graphics which i can take care of. In other words i only need to know these:

a) Passing the ball to a player and controlling that player.  
b) Opponent and own player AI for moving anywhere in the field or standing still.  
c) a link to Actionscript dictionary and Sprites for background or other such realted things.
