# For a newbie, ActionScript 2.0 or 3.0?

I was wondering which ActionScript version you recommend me to start learning, is 2.0 still usable or is 3.0 the only way to go?  
Is one of them much easier to learn than the other?  
How much more powerful is 3.0?
