On a tour of Florida, the Pope took a couple of days off to visit the coast for some sightseeing. He was cruising along the beach in the Popemobile when there was a frantic commotion just off shore. A helpless man, wearing a New York Yankee jersey, was struggling frantically to free himself from the jaws of a 25-foot shark. As the Pope watched, horrified, a speedboat came racing up with three men wearing Boston Red Sox jerseys aboard. One quickly fired a harpoon into the shark’s side. The other two reached out and pulled the bleeding, semi-conscious Yankee fan from the water. Then using (autographed Nomar) baseball bats, the three heroes in red beat the shark to death and hauled it into the boat also. Immediately the Pope shouted and summoned them to the beach. “I give you my blessing for your brave actions,” he told them. “I heard that there was some bitter hatred between Red Sox and Yankee fans, but now I have seen with my own eyes that this is not the truth.” As the Pope drove off, the harpooner asked his buddies “Who was that?” “It was the Pope,” one replied. “He is in direct contact with God and has access to all of God’s wisdom.” “Well,” the harpooner said, “he may have access to God’s wisdom, but he doesn’t know sh\*t about shark fishing… how’s the bait holding up?”

HAHA! I love listening … err … reading you Bo Sox fans and Yankee fans going back and forth.
That was a great joke 🙂 Fun stuff.
I really wish the Sox would have won this year. It was cool to see the Yankees return to the Series and win it a few years ago, but now it’s just getting old.

I hear you about the money thing! The Yankees didnt beat the Botarts because of $$$ - it was because Grady didnt have the cojones to tell Pedro to have a seat with a 5-3 lead.
You want to complain about money? Talk to Mets management - they’ll tell you it takes more than a high payroll to win. (they just dont know what it is).

i have a joke similar, it can pretty much go either way.
A Red Sox fan is driving down the road. He hates Yankees fans, and happens to spot a Yankee fan walking along side the road. so he quickly swerves out and hits the Yankee fan.
The next day, he is driving down the road, and spots another Yankee fan. So he swerves out and his this fan too.
The next day, the Red Sox fan drives down the road, and spots a priest. He stops and gives the priest a ride. So after driving for a while, he spots yet another Yankee fan walking by the road. He swerves toward the fan, but wait! He thinks, “I cant kill this Yankee fan right in front of this priest!” so he trys to swerve out of the way. We hear a thud! and the Red Sox fan stops. He cries “father, im so sorry!” but the priest turns to him and replies, “It’s okay, son. I got him with my door.”

A Mets fan, a yankees fan and a red sox fan were walking down the road and they found a dead woman, naked on the side of the road. The met and yankee fans covered her breasts with their caps and the red sox fan covered her privates with his cap.
The cops arrived and one of the cops was looking at her body and started scribbling some notes on his note pad. Then he lifted up the yankee cap, saw a breast, and wrote in his notepad. He lifted the mets cap, saw the other breast, and wrote in his notepad.
Then he lifted the Red Sox cap, saw her privates, and had a confused look on his face. He lifted the cap again, saw her privates, and started scratching his head. One of the guys asked if there was a problem.
The cop said “I dont get it. Whenever i see a Red Sox cap, there is usually a D\*\*K underneath it!”
