# Formatting text from MySQL DB?

[FONT=Comic Sans MS]hey all i have a php page in dreamweaver and i have brought some content (text) in from a mysql database and i can’t seem to give it a paragraph spacing or set it out as a list of items eg:

- 1st item
- 2nd item
- 3rd iten

something along those lines

if anyone knows how to do this it would be great and i am using css which is great for the font etc but i can’t seem to format the text in the way i want :S
