# Frame One is Oversized

Alright, I’m working on my new site and everything, so I get the meat of it done, and I go put in the preloader following that MX preloader with bar tut. So that works out fine, but then I run into a problem: Frame one is 161kb. The whole .swf is 550kb, so if almost 1/4 of the video is loading in frame 1, it kinda defeats the purpose of the preloader.

My question is this: Whats causing it to be so massize?!? I have a movie clip (that makes the file large) but it only comes into frame 3, when the preloading is done. I tried adding a frame before the preloader, but frame one is STILL 161kb, and nothing is on it. Just a blank frame, and it’s 161kb.

Any solutions?
