# Frame Rate Drop on Mac

Hey everyone -

In a site that I am working on I’m using a lot of actionscripted animation (mainly using EnterFrame), which works just fine for me as long as the movie is being displayed on a PC. When I look at the same movie on my mac (a G5) the frame rate has dropped about 80% (instead of my movies running at 24 fps, they look more like 4 fps). It seems to be especially bad on IE for mac. What gives? Why is my movie playing so much faster on a windows machine that can’t touch my G5 as far as processing goes? Any help getting this movie ‘up to speed’ would be appreciated!
