# Frame scripting question

okay, so i am working on this project and i have a question regarding some actionscripitng that i was wondering if it would work in a frame.

what i want it to do is that when a button is pressed that it tells a movie clip to go to a certian frame and play.

but in that movie clip, i when it goes to the end of the frame, i want that movie clip to stop and have it play a frame in the current scene.

i’ve tried to figure it out but nothing is working.

is it something with like a \_parent thing or what? i dunno.  
any help would be great!
