hey does anyone have any idea where you can get a compleately free .com or .co.uk domain name without having to pay for hosting and stuff so its just like cloaking the url
i can afford to buy one at the moment

I dont have $9 coz im in the uk i aint fat so i dont need to lose weight the basic reason is i cant be arsed buying one i was just wondering if there is such a place to get em. a guy i know got one where u got it free but u had to go online with there dial up numbers once a month or summet

not hosting, just a domain name. Chances are you can get them cheaper. I know .us domains you can get for like $5-6 … of course I doubt anyone from the UK would want a .us heh

Doteasy (which i and EG use…) you get free hosting when you register a domain with them its $25 for a .com or .net for 1 year…20MB web storage and 1000 MB Monthly Transfer… which is alright … [www.doteasy.com](http://www.doteasy.com)
remember, free lycos tripod account gives 50MB space…if you simply want to test i would go for free account

i think they went down in prices…i used to be able to get one for $8 a year cause i am a member… but i might be back to $9. $8 renew fee and i think transfer too…really nice, RenGirl and i use them…

it aint that i cant afford em its i always forget to put money in my bank so it’ll get to like the 4th month and my bank wud be empty and then they wouldnt be happy lol i got a .tk and a .cjb.net at the moment they can do me till i can rely on myself to remember
p.s there is no way im gonna use 1000mb of file transfer i barely use a meg now lol

the problem is when buying a domain your address has to be unique. i tried to get a domain; Amdesigns and the darn thing was already taken:-\ =)

go to .net. i always like .net more…but its just that .com is cooler i think…lol. but [mdipi.com](http://mdipi.com) and [mdipi.net](http://mdipi.net) both sound cool. i really want a .tv…thats tight…
