# Free php supporting webhosts?

i want to learn how to do mail forms and message boards with flash but i dont have any place i can test the php… know of any free webhosts i can sign up with (without getting a ton of spam or anything like that)
(sorry i already posted this in the flash mx forum but i figured it would get a better response here seeing that this place deals with php and stuff alot more)

bravenet sucks! I haven’t ever used zerocatch though. Why not just get some more practice and install PHP and MySQL on your home computer?

i didnt really know how to set up php on my comp and using windows messenger my friend did this assist thing where he controlled my comp and he installed it and whatnot for me, but something wasnt working right… so i dunno whats wrong…

DigitalPimp - why does bravenet suck? I have never used it, or heard anything about it, did you have a bad experience?

I haven’t had an experience with Bravenet but I have heard that they suck quite a bit…
ZeroCatch is a rip off. If you are gong to pay 15/month then just go with [Ipowerweb.com](http://Ipowerweb.com) and its only 6/month and you get a crap load of stuff… the new Cpanel is great too :thumb:

Good lord - I have been looking for a new webhost for a buisness I do some work for, and I had finally decided on ipowerweb, thinking to myself “omg, 6/month and I get ALL THAT STUFF!”. You are a freakin mind reader. Tell me a little about this control panel.

they updated it. Great new interface, and its bright and happy and makes me feel good. 🙂 I have yet to have a problem with Ipowerweb and I have used them for about 5 different clients.

do a google search for forserv, it makes php&myql&apache really easy to install - i think my mother could do it! its the easiest way to learn as you don’t have ftp etc

The best host with 100 Mb disk space and Php+Mysql support is Altervista.
