# Freelancing, equipment/books on taxes?

I have a permanent freelance job I just recently started and I’m wondering since I will be putting it on my taxes, should I get a company name/license ? will that give me benefits ? can I also add all my software, books, training to my taxes from the work I do ? or does that require I have a company ?
