I made a test movie just to try out the new MediaPlayback component included in MX 2004.

After following the tutorial on this site, I had no problem diplaying my .flv file in a bare bones, one frame swf movie. Of course as soon as I tried to implement the same thing on my actual web site, it didnt work. I followed all the same step and used the same exact file. When I test the movie, a white rectangle appears that reads: “player” and thats it. I even stripped away everything on a copy of my existing site so that only one frame and one layer remained. Tested it, and it didn’t work. I cant imagine why not… my test movie has the EXACT SAME SETTINGS!!. I checked about 40 times!!

What in the world is causing this to happen??
