This is a cheeky method I used to retrieve relevent information about a Timer Event from an Array by using a Dictionary object to reference itself.

var timerHolder = new Dictionary();
timerFunction():void
{
for(var i in someArray)
{
timerHolder\* = new Object();
timerHolder\* = new Timer(1000, 1);

```
timerHolder[timerHolder*] = i;
timerHolder*.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, someFunction);
timerHolder*.start();
```

};
};
function someFunction(event:TimerEvent):void
{
var isThisYourCard = someArray[timerHolder[event.currentTarget]];
};
