Note: Newbie

Whats the difference between a variable and a function?  
Ive started reading an actionscript book…and to me it seems there the same.

…does a variable store data, whereas the function “invokes” the data?

Is there a downloadable file I can have for these tutorials.  
I want to print them out…, maybe a word document or pdf?  
saves time printing out seperate webpages.

Id rather read from paper than on screen.

You should ask senocular, he has a raw word version of this tutorial. I think I still have a copy of it too, but I don’t think it’s the final version. I can give it to you if you want, but I think it’d be better to ask Sen for a copy.
