Microsoft just cut Game Pass pricing, but the tradeoff is losing launch-day Call of Duty access, which feels very on-brand for subscription gaming in 2026.

Honestly this feels like they’re admitting the bundle was never stable. you can’t build a “subscription habit” on a tentpole game if it can vanish the moment the spreadsheet looks bad.
