# Games to make movies (Halo?)

So with the customization and power games now bring to the table, are they being used to make home-made CG movies? If I recall, there were some Halo movies like this… am I right in thinking that? I haven’t seen any; I think I just might have heard about it somewhere.
Anyway, it seems like an exciting prospect for games to present themselves as both interactive entertainment as well as non. Not only would you be able to play custom levels created by other people, but also watch movies created by them. Is there maybe some unknown underground movement doing this or is it something that kind of goes un-noticed… or do gamers even really care to make movies like this? Anyone know anymore about stuff like this?

I don’t know… I don’t think I’ve ever heard of this, but I could be completely out of the loop.
Though I wouldn’t mind seeing movies from videogames, especially Halo. 😉

i don’t know about halo cause i don’t know its story but i think that metroid would do a good movie…

Im still waiting for a street fighter movie :lol:
A halo movie would be cool, metroid too but just imagine a war in a halo movie, real warthogs :drool:

red versus blue is right - they just finished up season 2
freakin’ hilarious - they took actual recorded video game footage to make theirs though …so funny…
language is extreme sometimes and content as well - be warned.
