# Get The Query string?

Hi all, I need the simplest way to get the query string from the URL address.  
Nothing with variables, only the string that comes after “?”.

example:  
[http://www.mywebsite/com/forum/newthread.asp](http://www.mywebsite/com/forum/newthread.asp)? **stringtocatch**

And I need it to be only AS2.  
Is there a way?
