# Getting started with Flash MX (And introduction)

What’s up?

The name’s Dip, Dip lomat. I’ve been a web designer/php programmer for almost 1 year now and I’ve pretty much gotten to be at an advanced level in both fields so now it’s time to expand my portfolio/resume ([http://www.freewebs.com/stk15/resume.txt](http://www.freewebs.com/stk15/resume.txt)) with Flash animations.

Where do I start? Basically, I want to learn the basics of Flash and get into learning about making websites (one of my favorites are [http://www.2advanced.com](http://www.2advanced.com)), I would love to be able to make sites like 2Advanced.
