# Getting text sharper in buttons

I tried to make the text to look sharper in buttons using dynamic text and the antialiastic thing. but when i preview the html and flash file it won’t show the text like there is nothing there. anything? thanks.

i just changed the static text to dynamic. what do you mean embed, the text is there just doesn’t show when i preview.

Hey Barge! Welcome to the Forums, from another Visalia local!!
Embedding a font is when you choose to include the font in the flash file, so that anyone can view it on any computer, regardless of what fonts they have. To do this, you click on the ‘character’ button, in the properties panel, and then choose, ‘all characters’.

Another way would be to use a font like \_sans between point size 10 and 12. That looks really crisp.

\_sans is a good choice, but unfortunately, it’s not on all platforms. An even better choice would be arial or verdana set to 10 pt.
