# getURL doesn't 'getURL'

Hi,

I am fairly new to Action Scripting, and have been using HTML and JavaScript previously for stand-alone presentations, (I am a 60 yr old technical Instructor).

I decided to migrate to the ‘Big Boys’ school and try Action Scripting, but I am having problems right from the start.

Using Flash 8 on my computer at home, the ‘getURL’ function works OK, but when I try to run the movie on my PC at work the movie stops at the point where getURL is required.

It would appear to be a browser setting problem, (IE 7), but I’ve compared settings and can’t find any difference.

Please help me as I am stalled at the moment.
