# .gif visualization problem

ok i don’t know if this is the right place for this post, if not please a moderator move it where it’s due.  
my problem is that i just can’t visualize animated gifs in the image viewer of windows 7 (only a static image is seen). i had no problems with windows xp. i installed picasa and it’s the same, they just show a static image.  
did anyone have this trouble? how can i fix it?
