GitHub says that starting April 24, Copilot Free, Pro, and Pro+ will use your prompts, outputs, code snippets, and related context for model training by default unless.

If you touch private or client code, opt out now because “related context” is the part that quietly widens the blast radius beyond just the prompt box.
