where exactly is the glass effect in the example? ---

I think Optimus is referring to the bar at the top. You can create that effect using photoshop. Here are some tutorials. You mean on the top on the animated banner? That’s a photoshop thing. From the looks of it just a white area made partially transparent. You could replicate that in Flash with a gradient fill symbol with an alpha fade applied to it… ---

yeh i was referring the lara croft pic, (banner) see i know some of it was in photoshop like the border. but the glass effect was done in flash… thx guys on the tutes ---

sorry for double post, but electron u nailed it on the head…thx bro… !! but what if I like to have some animated text in the back groung, can i just import the photoshop to flash? ---

yeah just import the glass piece into flash and have the animated text on a layer below the glass image. ---
