# GMail Targeted Advertising - Waste of Time

Has anybody noticed that the “targeted advertising” in gmail is about the most dumb thing ever?

Let’s have a look:  
[SIZE=1]Email:  
I email myself something about “wire/cable tutorial”  
Ads:  
Speaker wires, and towing cables

Email:  
Girlfriend telling me when she gets off work.  
Ads:  
Never work again! Start your own business![/SIZE]

Anybody else noticed this?
