hello,

i bought a few domains through godaddy that i’ve been learning-as-i-go developing wordpress sites with. I originally bought the hosting package out of convenience which is coming up on renewal. I was wondering what the consensus is on hosting; I couldn’t find any reason to say no to godaddy the first time around, but i’m a little wary of their constant upsells on items. Overall, i’m content with the service. I have SSH access, the sites load slowly but surely. I was trying hard to get a mapped folder on my desktop that wold make enable me to edit files a little easier and synch (this may be on ME, not godaddy).

Would you encourage me to make a jump now? If so, where?
