Is there a good script that converts form data (using dreamweaver if that helps) to a .txt file that can be read by Flash?

I have this PHP script but when you type text to the form and submit it, the text somehow gets rendered with " \ " (back-slashes) any time quotes ( " or ’ ) are used and the " & " is read by flash as a seperator.

This is the script I am using:

\<?php
if($\_POST)
{
$fp = fopen(‘myText.txt’,‘w+’);
fwrite($fp,‘textField=’.$\_POST[‘textField’],strlen('textField= '.$\_POST[‘finText’]));
fclose($fp);
}
?\>

I need a better way to convert form data to a text file so it can be read back into flash.
If this has been covered, I’d love the link so I can learn it myself!

Thanks in advance!

Darren
