The mention of Google Earth in that article is completely gratuitous. They didn’t even use it.

Yeah they say that in the article, but the idea that it may be able to be used or not is more of the point…

Ya I google earthed my old place and the picture was like 4 years old, at this point it isn’t a very reliable tool for fighting crime.
