# Google Maps and Actionscript 2.0

I have just read the article on this site about “Displaying Google Maps in Flash” with interest ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/as3/flash\_as3\_google\_maps\_api\_pg1.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/as3/flash_as3_google_maps_api_pg1.htm)). It works with an actionscript 3.0 API, and I was wondering if there is an equivalent API which will work with Actionscript 2.0, as I’m using Flash 8.
