# Google Maps: Clickable markers

In this Google Maps example:

You can click on the map and populate the data grid with info on the marker location.

However, if you do a search, the markers that drop in can’t be selected to give the same result.

I want to be able to click on those markers and get the same response as if I had clicked and dropped one myself. I don’t need the KML from the marker, I just want to click through it and get a lat/long for that same spot.
