# Gradient mask with dynamic content

i’ve got an autoscrolling(vertical)/dynamic list of movie clips attached to a holder clip.

this kind of floats visually over a scene and i’d like to use a gradient mask to give the impression of it fading off to 0 alpha on the top and bottom edges.

I’m not sure i can use cacheAsBitmap with a gradient blend mask with dynamic content where each attached clip has rollOver/out, onRelease, etc. on it can i?

I tried playing around with a flash vector gradient shape and can’t seem to get it to work? do i need a gradient that falls off to zero or can i use a gradient that goes from black to white?
