# Gradients in flash

Is there any way when making shapes in flash to then put something of the photoshop equivalent of a gradient? I’d like to have colored bars moving across the screen but have them fade out at the ends. Can you do this in flash or is better to just create the bars in photoshop and import them in to the library?
